“Let your light shine” Mt 5:16
In our Motherland India from time immemorial the wisdom is associated with light. We call it enlightenment for Lord Budda, The ray of Light in Gaytari mantra, according to Ayat al Nur of Holy Quran, Allah is the light of heaven and earth, Our Lord Jesus says, “ I am the light of the World” Jn 8:12 and the same light is in each one us to shine forth. That is the purpose of education to lead one from darkness to light, Tamasoma Jyotirgamaya. For 121 years St.Aloysius Primary School has been spreading this light of love and service for the poorer section of the society who cannot afford to study in elite schools. As we march towards 125 years of the Jubilee of our esteemed institution which began in 1898, we renew our commitment for the poor and the marginalized of our society to equip them to come to the main stream through the power of education and morals. It is towards this noble mission and vision that we invite you dear parents to join your hands and hearts with us to mould a bright and assured future for your child. It is not enough if we shape brilliant brains but we also need empathetic hearts. The initial years of schooling is geared towards this to develop a sense of personality, core values of respect, honesty, truth, justice and sincerity. If this foundation is strong then the future of the nation and the pupils is assured. We are sure together we can do it.
