Dear Students,

You are now part of St. Aloysius English Higher Primary School. We invite you to take charge of your own life, of your own formation and grow as proud citizen of our dear mother land, with the guidance and assistants of your class mates, teachers and your parent. We wish you all good and look forward for your blooming up.

The school opens for you at 8.45 A.M., keep your bag in the classroom, come down for assembly prayer. After the prayer walk in a line and enter the class room, greet your companions silently, take your seat and enter into silent study.

Preparing yourself to make the rich experience of learning your own, get ready with your books and other materials before every class hour. Respecting your teacher, stand up , greet her and then take your seat, only after teacher has taken her seat or has asked you to take your seat.

Answer to your roll call promptly. In the class be a active participant in the process of learning.

As the teacher is about to leave the class, stand up along with your companions and thank her for her efforts and hard work for you.

Recalling is one of the many methods of revision, of retaining what you have learned in the class. Your home work helps you to do the same. You will relete knowledge to life, fix concepts well in your mind if you do your homework well. Do it well regularly.

Come to the class regularly as you wouldn’t like to miss your learning. If you need leave, please produce the note in the prescribe page in the school calendar signed by your parents. In class of emergency or illness where you can’t avail advance leave, produce the leave note to the Head Mistress on the first day of your coming to the school. We will be happy to see you back.

Since you respect yourself and others you will wear your uniform neat and tidy every day.

22 Bring everything you need for your studies, so that you don’t disturb others and waste your valuable time.

All of us are to take care of any and every public property. Please do not damage and public property or the school property. If you happen to do so, even if accidently report the matter to your class teacher and as justice demands be ready to make good the damage done.

Your parents and your loved ones work hard to provide you with everything you need. Therefore take care of your valuables, as you wouldn’t like to lose them. Remember school doesn’t make itself responsible for any such loses, though it takes such issues seriously.

As you would expect everyone deal with you politely, relate with everyone in a kind and polite manner. Speaking ill of others, shouting or scolding others, using abusive and bad language, walking away or speaking with others when teacher speak to you, yawning or coughing without covering your mouth, or fighting with others are not good manners at all. Respect others and you will be respected.

Keep your class room, your school veranda and surrounding clean by not throwing waste around the place or outside the room, through the windows, doors etc..Make use of the dustbin only when necessary.

As you want to be a gentle person, remember a gentle person disturbs others to the least. Therefore make as less noise as possible in the class room or when you walk.

Meet your teachers often, relate to them freely and respectfully. Take courage to discuss and matter pertaining to your well being take guidance and make use of their rich experiences of life.

These are the few guidelines we would like you to follow as you go ahead in your life’s journey at St. Aloysius English Primary School.
